Maia is a trauma-informed integrative resilience coach who’s experiential approach is rooted in effective techniques and practices that engage the body and the brain in ways that create noticeable and lasting changes. One of the main foundations of her practice is to help clients cultivate their own inner authority and *resourcing in order to create a more resilient nervous system. This gentle approach enables her clients to authentically acknowledge what is true for them moment to moment, to move at their own pace, acknowledge their own boundaries and to draw their own conclusions. Other approaches and practices that Maia’s employs are narrative medicine, PolyVagal Theory ™, Somatic Experiencing ™, embodied transformation, and IPNB ™. All of these approaches support creating new neural pathways for the brain and nervous system which cultivate resilience, flexibility, contentment and joy as well as a deeper understanding of how to navigate the body, brain and environment in ways that support living an authentic and empowered life, unique to each client.
*resourcing consists of a variety of techniques that bring one into a regulated nervous system state.
